Any medications to be avoided:
At present, neither the Government nor the vaccine manufacturers have given any specific instructions.
Any vaccine risks for people with co-morbidities:
The vaccine is completely safe and effective for people with co-morbidities such as diabetes, hypertension, cancer, lipid disorders, kidney disorders, etc.
Like any other vaccine, even with COVID-19 vaccines, you might experience mild to moderate side effects. These can include:
- Some pain, swelling and redness on the arm where you received the vaccine
- Chills or mild fever
- Tiredness
- Headaches
- Joint pain or muscle ache
